Title: Enterprise Software Administrator Location: Beaumont United States Job Description: Job Summary The Enterprise Software Administrator is responsible for providing primary support and troubleshooting for enterprise applications, ensuring reliable performance across on-premises and cloud environments. This role installs, configures, maintains, patches, and upgrades applications in multi-platform environments, while monitoring systems and resolving issues to minimize service disruptions. The position manages daily service tickets, maintains technical documentation, and supports change management and testing activities. The Enterprise Software Administrator collaborates with information security partners to ensure applications align with university standards and policies, explores automation and integration opportunities to improve efficiency, and continuously enhances internal processes to improve application performance, quality, and customer experience. The role also requires ongoing professional development and staying current with emerging technologies to support organizational needs. Essential Job Functions - - Provide primary troubleshooting and ongoing support for enterprise applications to ensure system availability and performance. - Install, configure, maintain, patch, upgrade, and monitor on-premises and cloud-based applications on multi-platforms. - Manage and resolve service requests by reviewing and updating support tickets daily. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation guidelines, upgrading procedures, testing plans, and process documentation. Collaborate with internal partners to improve application administration processes, implement automation and integrations, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum and Desired Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with two (2) years of relevant experience or four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. - 2 or more years of experience in a relevant field. - Experience supporting application computing environments in Linux and Windows - Software management life cycle, including change management, functional and technical specification development. - Experience with installation and configuration of multi-tier application software in an enterprise environment. Desired Qualifications: - - Master's degree in a relevant field with 4 years of experience. - Experience as an administrator in a team working directly with functional counterparts on requirements gathering, program specification, design, and information systems that interact with ERP platforms. - Experience with cloud-based offerings and cloud deployments. - Ability to develop, diagnose, and debug automation and integrate modern and legacy tools to optimize business processes.
