Role Description The successful candidate is a versatile individual who keeps abreast of the latest office automation software to process various specialized documents in the legal and administrative fields. This position reports to the Director, Linguistic Services. Key Responsibilities: - Create and modify documents through word processing, scanning and other methods - Ensure the complete satisfaction of the internal clients, mainly translators and revisors - Modify documents: changes to formatting, styles and indexing - Participate in translation projects by pre-processing certain documents - Ensure quality control of documents before delivery to the client - Occasionally replace the other Linguistic Services Assistants with respect to file management and invoicing of external suppliers Qualifications - Bilingual written and spoken (French and English) given the clientele, mandates, and international scope of the firm - Advanced knowledge of office automation software, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook - Excellent client service - Organizational and priority management skills - Attention to detail, autonomy and team spirit - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Requirements - Diploma in office automation or equivalent - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience - Good knowledge of the functioning of a translation department within a law firm - Microsoft Office Certification, an asset Benefits - Recognized as one of Canada’s Best Employers since 2009 - Enticing compensation package and annual review - Comprehensive employee benefits and perks including: - Health & Wellness Spending Accounts - Matching RRSP contributions - Access to telemedicine available 24/7 - Continuing education program - Supportive and inclusive work environment - Remote work
