• Provide ongoing operational support and management of network environments, ensuring high availability, stability, and adherence to agreed service levels. • Work closely with clients to understand operational requirements, business priorities, and network support needs, ensuring services align with day‑to‑day business operations. • Perform regular health checks, audits, and operational reviews of network infrastructure to identify risks, incidents, and opportunities for improvement. • Support and maintain network configurations, documentation, and operational runbooks, ensuring accuracy and readiness for operational and incident scenarios. • Lead and participate in incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for complex network issues, ensuring timely restoration and prevention of recurrence. • Conduct network performance monitoring, capacity management, and utilization analysis to proactively address performance bottlenecks and scalability needs. • Support change management activities, including validation, implementation, and post‑change monitoring, ensuring minimal business disruption. • Collaborate with cross‑functional operational teams (service desk, system administrators, security, and application teams) to deliver integrated and coordinated support. • Apply operational best practices, standards, and compliance requirements to ensure process consistency and operational governance. • Stay current with modern network technologies and operational trends, recommending improvements that enhance reliability, resilience, and operational efficiency. • Provide day‑to‑day guidance and mentoring to junior engineers, supporting skill development, operational maturity, and knowledge transfer within the team.

Job Requirements

  • B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-9 years of experience in network consulting, design, and implementation, preferably in a client-facing role.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with FireMon, Check Point firewalls, and Zscaler platforms in a network security operations environment.
  • Proficient in network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Strong expertise in modern network technologies, including but not limited to SD-WAN, virtualization, cloud networking, software-defined networking (SDN), and network automation.
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment from leading vendors, such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.
  • Expertise on Ansible for seamless automation of IP network configurations, optimizing the deployment and management of networking infrastructure.
  • Expertise on Terraform to define and provision IP network resources, ensuring consistent and scalable network architectures.
  • Proficient in cloud networking technologies and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex network requirements and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Industry certifications from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Zscaler, Palo Alto, Fortinet etc. are highly desirable.

Minimum Work Experience - At least 3 years of applied hydrology and stormwater quality work; professional engineering experience focused on stormwater quality compliance, site hydrology and hydraulics. - Knowledge and experience applying state and federal laws, policies, and regulations related to stormwater quality. - Proven track record in preparing Drainage Studies, as well as preparing WQMP, LID, and SWPPP documents, and experience in land development design. - Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
