Job Description

Cloud Solution Architect – AWS, DBX

Hiflylabs

• Design and implement scalable AWS cloud architectures with a strong focus on networking and platform stability • Architect and manage AWS networking components (VPCs, routing, egress control, hybrid connectivity) • Build and maintain Databricks platform architecture on AWS, ensuring best practices and scalability • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, with a focus on reusable and modular design • Define and implement cost allocation models across tenants and projects • Design and develop CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Declarative Automation Bundles – DAB) to enable automated deployments • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define platform standards, governance, and best practices • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual operations and improve reliability

Job Requirements

  • Strong hands-on and architectural experience with AWS cloud environments
  • Deep expertise in AWS networking, including: VPC design
  • Egress control strategies
  • Hybrid (on-prem & cloud) connectivity
  • Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure and network automation
  • Strong experience in Databricks on AWS, including: Platform setup and management
  • Deep understanding of Databricks architecture and components
  • Solid knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) in both AWS and Databricks
  • Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to operate at both hands-on and architectural levels
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud environments
  • Experience with advanced automation frameworks and DevOps tooling
  • Background in platform engineering or internal developer platforms (IDP)
