We are seeking a highly analytical, detail‑oriented Freight Audit, Process & Pay (FAPP) Analyst with demonstrated experience in freight pay to support our logistics and transportation operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely freight billing, while identifying process gaps, driving automation, and enhancing data visibility across the supply chain. By leveraging your hands‑on expertise in freight audit and payment processes, you will play a critical role in improving financial accuracy, optimizing transportation spend, and elevating the overall effectiveness of our logistics operations. This position requires a strong understanding of freight payment methodologies, along with a proactive approach to process improvement and cost‑saving initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Investigate and resolve freight billing discrepancies, credits, and claims. - Troubleshoot issues between transportation providers and the FAPP system. - Evaluate logistics processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Conduct cost‑benefit and cost‑reduction analyses across transportation spend. - Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify gaps, resolve issues, and implement sustainable solutions. - Maintain strong relationships with transportation providers and internal stakeholders. - Lead onboarding and training of the new accounts and carriers transitioning into the FAPP program. Daily & Operational Responsibilities - Generate and analyze KPI and operational performance reports. - Identify opportunities for freight cost reduction and efficiency gains. - Support automation initiatives by defining rules and reducing manual work. - Investigate, validate, and resolve billing errors and freight claims. - Monitor system performance and coordinate resolution of provider-related issues. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred; equivalent experience accepted. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain analysis. - Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. - Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills. - Working knowledge of LTL, Truckload, and general supply chain operations. Requirements - Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined.
