Navigation Care Coordinator

Role Description Looking for a member with healthcare coverage knowledge and customer service skills. Handle customer calls, gather information, and resolve issues. The role demands attentive listening skills, empathy, and professionalism. Responsibilities - Handling inbound and outbound calls to assist with customer needs related to Health and Welfare benefits, including processing enrollments. - Educating customers on benefit plans and program options. - Utilizing tools to discuss premiums, coinsurance, copays, deductibles, and out of pocket expenses for health benefits. - Using excellent customer service skills with empathy and compassion to resolve complex customer needs while navigating multiple tools in a quick-paced environment. - Educating customers on plan provisions using Summary Plan Descriptions and other tools, including handling questions on COBRA and retirement. - Handling questions about COBRA, process enrollments, and connect customers to relevant benefits, resources, or programs. - Participating in ongoing healthcare training and adapting to new processes as needed. - Scheduling and completing appointments for Retirement, Annual Enrollment, and other special events. - Investigating identified issues by interacting with the health plan, provider, and other third parties as needed. - Utilizing excellent written communication skills to accurately record and summarize customer needs and actions. - Receiving coaching and feedback on performance and applying learnings. Qualifications - Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service and customer resolution skills, and critical thinking skills. - Possess organizational and time management proficiencies. - Able to recognize the need to change priorities to meet the business needs. - Able to work effectively in a team environment. - Able to have workstation that is free of noise and distractions. - Possess technology proficiency. - Access information using a computer and related components and peripherals. - Participate in training sessions and meetings. - Ability to be flexible with various shifts and possible overtime when business needs require. - 2 years relevant experience in health plan benefits or associate’s (health care benefit-related field). - Possess Spanish speaking/ Bilingual experience. Role Description The Licensed Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision, guidance, and professional development support to Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) and Practicum Associates. This role focuses exclusively on supervision and clinical oversight and does not include direct administrative management responsibilities unless otherwise agreed upon. The supervisor ensures clinical services are delivered ethically, professionally, and in accordance with applicable state regulations, licensing board standards, and organizational policies. - Provide scheduled individual and/or group clinical supervision to LPCs and Practicum Associates. - Support supervisees in clinical case conceptualization, treatment planning, documentation practices, and ethical decision-making. - Monitor clinical competency, professional conduct, and adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. - Review and sign documentation as required by state licensing regulations and organizational policies. - Assist supervisees in developing clinical skills, therapeutic interventions, and professional confidence. - Provide constructive feedback and performance-related recommendations regarding clinical practice. - Maintain accurate supervision records, including supervision hours and required documentation. - Identify training and professional development needs among supervisees. - Report concerns related to client safety, ethical violations, or clinical risk in a timely manner. - Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and all applicable state and federal regulations. - Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/designee. Qualifications - Active and unrestricted professional clinical license in the applicable state (e.g., LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent). - Approved Supervisor credential or eligibility to provide board-approved supervision, if required by state regulations. - Minimum of 2–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred. - Experience supervising clinicians, interns, or trainees preferred. - Strong knowledge of ethical standards, documentation requirements, and clinical best practices. - Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship skills. Requirements - Flexible schedule based on organizational needs and mutually agreed supervision hours. - Position may be fully remote, hybrid, or in-person depending on organizational requirements and state regulations. Compensation - Compensation will be based on an agreed-upon hourly or per-supervision-session contractor rate. - Contractor is responsible for all applicable taxes, licensure maintenance, insurance, and business expenses. Independent Contractor Status This position is classified as an independent contractor (1099) role. The contractor maintains independent control over the manner and means of providing services, consistent with applicable laws and contractual agreements.
