Data Architect

Quantiphi

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms and architectures on Alibaba Cloud • Lead the development of modern data ecosystems including data lakes, warehouses, streaming pipelines, and real-time analytics solutions • Architect and implement solutions leveraging Alibaba Cloud services such as MaxCompute, DataWorks, OSS, ECS, RDS, PolarDB, AnalyticDB, ACK (Kubernetes), Function Compute, and SLB • Define data models, governance frameworks, security standards, and best practices for enterprise-grade data environments • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and batch/streaming ingestion workflows • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and compliant data solutions • Establish Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices for automated deployment and management of data infrastructure • Optimize platform performance, reliability, and cost efficiency through monitoring, tuning, and continuous improvement • Lead cloud modernization and migration initiatives from AWS, Azure, or GCP to Alibaba Cloud data platforms • Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, standards development, documentation, and mentorship • Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure high availability of mission-critical data systems

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or cloud data platform design
  • Hands-on experience architecting and deploying data solutions within Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud) environments
  • Strong expertise in data modeling, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing
  • Experience designing data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala, or similar)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and orchestration tools
  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/ACK)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated deployments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and business teams.

Role Description We are seeking an Oracle Data Integration Developer who is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting data integration (ETL/ELT) solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This role focuses on implementing data pipelines that load and transform data from multiple source systems into data warehouses, data marts, and analytics platforms.
