Blockchain Indexing Specialist Location: Can do at least 4 hours overlap between 10am-6pm Brazilian time - Cannot hire in Germany or France Remote | Full-time Compensation: Competitive Our client operates a premier real-time blockchain analytics platform utilized by over 5 million crypto traders every month. As a lean, high-performance team of ten, the organization remains at the absolute core of the rapidly expanding decentralized finance (DeFi) industry. The organization is seeking a Blockchain Engineer to join the core engineering team. This individual will manage and evolve the indexing layer as the platform scales across hundreds of chains and billions of transactions. The mission is to architect and maintain high-performance indexers that ensure the platform remains the fastest and most reliable data provider in the ecosystem. This role is designed for a specialist who thrives in high-throughput environments and possesses a deep technical understanding of blockchain data structures. Key Responsibilities - Multi-Chain Indexing: Build and maintain real-time indexers for over 100+ chains (spanning both SVM and EVM architectures). - Solana Ecosystem Ownership: Take primary ownership of Solana (SVM) indexing, ensuring high-fidelity data capture in one of the industry's most high-throughput environments. - Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize for speed and reliability to ensure real-time data accuracy for millions of global users. - Infrastructure Management: Manage production-ready, high-load environments that process massive volumes of on-chain events. - Data Integrity: Implement robust solutions for reorg handling, RPC management, and cross-chain data consistency. Interview Process - Group Interview: An initial interview with the CEO and CTO to discuss technical philosophy and experience. - Take-Home Assessment: A paid task requiring the development of a functional indexer for a specific chain. - Final Interview: A comprehensive review of the assessment and a chance to cover any specific technical or organizational questions.
Job Requirements
- Core Language Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Golang is a must-have. Candidates must be comfortable building low-latency, high-concurrency systems in Go.
- Technical Versatility: Proficiency in TypeScript for the maintenance and integration of existing services.
- Solana (SVM) Expertise: A deep, fundamental understanding of the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM). Experience with Solana’s unique architecture is an absolute requirement.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience building and deploying production-grade indexers from the ground up. Candidates must understand the nuances of RPC management and data consistency.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong familiarity with DeFi primitives (AMMs, order books, liquidity pools) and the broader crypto ecosystem.
