• Own end-to-end automation strategy across UI, API, integration, and performance test layers, including designing pipeline-driven automated test execution, and release readiness signals within Azure DevOps CI/CD workflows. • Expand the automation capabilities of the broader Product Testing team by mentoring testers in modern automation practices, helping shift manual regression effort toward scalable automated coverage. • Lead performance engineering strategy for web and distributed microservice systems, including design and execution of API load tests using tools such as Locust (Python), creation of distributed load test models, analysis of performance bottlenecks, and integration of performance test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps). • Lead and mentor the Product Test team, providing technical guidance and upskilling in test design and automation. • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering leadership on framework decisions, tooling strategy, and system architecture. • Champion adoption of modern testing tools, automation practices, and AI-driven testing approaches.

• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and testing scenarios to ensure that our applications meet the desired quality standards • Conduct regression testing, functional testing, and user acceptance testing on applications, updates, and releases • Write test cases using different Agile methodologies, including BDD and TDD • Own the testing process and make quality an important deliverable

• Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using TypeScript • Write and maintain automated UI, API, E2E, and integration tests • Collaborate with developers to write testable code and integrate tests early in the development lifecycle • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and contribute to overall testability and quality improvements • Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and performance of automation • Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar • Investigate test failures, triage bugs, and identify root causes of defects • Contribute to the creation of testing strategies, QA best practices, and documentation

Role Description - Design and implement the core architecture of our product. - Provide technical guidance and drive best practices for development, code review, testing, and deployment that will ensure the shipment of quality code into production. - Specify and implement clean, efficient APIs across the stack (internal, external, REST, GraphQL, etc.). - Work closely with product managers, user interface designers, TPM, and other teams to build a complete solution. - Deeply understand our code and how it interacts with the real world. Help others understand it too. - Review and respond to operational issues, escalating as necessary. - Enjoy mentoring other engineers. Qualifications - Exposure to Computer Science and Engineering as a discipline. A BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. - 5-8 years of industry experience working with web application development, preferably Django. - 5-8 years of industry experience in a high-level language, preferably Python. - Relational database systems experience, such as PostgreSQL. - Experience with third-party system integration and API design. Electronic medical record (EMR), Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), or electronic data interchange (EDI) experience a plus. - Experience "Vibe Coding" and managing AI Agents such as GPT, Claude, or Cursor. - Experience with Unix, Git, and other command line tools. - Demonstrated expertise in development processes and tools. - Strong software engineering fundamentals: design, testing, version control. - Significant independent programming experience as demonstrated by a GitHub account, personal web page, or prior experience.
