Role Description This role can be performed remotely from anywhere within the US. As a Strategic Engagement Team Leader, you will lead a team of SET Executives responsible for managing large, complex deals across the Americas. You'll set the strategy, drive team performance, and align opportunities to grow Cisco's buying program solutions and service offerings. In this role, you'll build and sustain strong relationships with Area Sales Leadership and extended teams, while coaching your team to take ownership of customer outcomes and large deal strategies. You'll guide them in structuring deal opportunities from the ground up, aligning solutions to evolving customer needs, and driving deals through to closure — all with the goal of growing Cisco's recurring revenue business. You'll also play a key role in pipeline management, reviewing business plans and forecasting data to present data-driven account strategies to senior leadership. Staying ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape will be essential to keeping your team and your strategies sharp. Key Responsibilities - Leads a team of SET Executives managing multiple large, complex deal types and ensuring alignment with sales strategy and demand. - Directs resource utilization in accordance with strategic sales priorities and based on guidance from Americas leadership. - Reviews forecasts and other sales data and offers aggregated feedback from multiple accounts to influence deal planning. - Oversees consistent execution of deal strategies by streamlining processes and aligning team efforts across field, partner, and virtual teams. - Coordinates joint planning sessions between field, partner, and virtual teams for assigned opportunities. - Manages executive-level Cisco relationships. Qualifications - 5-year plus sales experience in the technology or related industry. Requirements - 3-year plus experience in a leadership role within sales, business development, or a similar field. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence executives and key stakeholders. - Collaborative mindset, adept at working across various functions and teams within an organization to drive results. - Strong commercial acumen, experience with developing successful business cases and navigating complex contracts.
