A successful cadidate will be self-motivated, disciplined and be a great collaborator while making impacts in the following ways; - Assisting with gathering client requirements for pending Business Intelligence (BI), Data & Analytics, and Business transformation projects. - Providing documentation and support for self-service data access. - Working closely with customers to understand needs and verifying requests. - Act as a liaison between the business and the Shared services IT organization by providing support in the areas of application deployments, application support, application licensing and resolving client issues. - Participates and advises in data & analytics projects and initiatives across the sector. - Enable effective decision making by analyzing data from multiple sources and compiling into a digestible and actionable format. - Identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data, and partnering with internal teams. - Consulting with Corporate IT senior and/or lead analysts for assistance with problem resolution in support of our Functional areas. - Working to drive transformation and customer experience enhancement projects. Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's Degree with 4 or more years of related experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Power BI - Experience with business intelligence, analytics, or reporting - Familiarity with data analysis within an enterprise organization - Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of team - Effective Communicator (Oral / Written) - Flexibility / Adaptability Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Completion of a Bachelor's degree in computer systems analysis, computer science, computer information systems (CIS), management information systems (MIS), business intelligence or a similar field of study. - Ability to work independently, as well as part of team, and be an effective communicator - Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills - Knowledge/experience with computer programming a plus - Knowledge/experience in SQL - Knowledge/experience in a data visualization software such as PowerBI or Tableau - Knowledge/experience in Oracle APEX application development - Knowledge/experience in gathering requirements and able to interpret technical details - Experience in assisting and supporting other functional organizations within a larger corporate environment Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $107359 - $182510 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Role Description Our BI team builds and maintains the data models and semantic layer that power reporting and analytics across PulsePoint's advertising platform. We're looking for a Senior BI Developer who can take ownership of LookML development and help us push the quality and depth of our Looker implementation further. This is a heads-down technical role — you'll be working closely with data and backend engineers rather than fielding requests from business users. The right person is someone who genuinely enjoys the craft of data modeling and isn't intimidated by a complex, large-scale BigQuery environment.
