Role Description We’re hiring a Senior Product Analyst to own product growth analytics end-to-end at MNTN. This role is about making that vision a reality. You’ll build and scale the systems that power how we understand product performance—bringing rigor to our data, clarity to our insights, and speed to our decision-making. This isn’t a reporting role; it’s a chance to define how analytics drives growth at MNTN and help shape the future of the premier performance TV platform. What you’ll do - Pendo event tagging across the web app: features, flows, and key interactions. - GA4 tag setup and pixel implementation and maintenance. - Identity configuration to ensure anonymous and known users are resolved correctly across surfaces. - Event taxonomy design: naming conventions, governance, and documentation. - Tracking audits and ongoing data quality. - Insights for regular platform upgrades that will improve overall business performance. - Funnel analysis: visit to signup to activation to retention. - Pendo dashboards and reports for product and growth teams. - SQL-based analysis for deeper cohort, conversion, and behavioral questions. - Proactively generate insights by identifying patterns and opportunities to improve product performance: you're not waiting for a ticket, you're finding the story. What success looks like - Within 90 days, instrumentation gaps are identified, and a remediation plan is in place. - Core Pendo tagging is clean and trustworthy. - Foundational growth dashboards are live and being used. - Within 6 months, we can confidently answer: How many unique visitors do we get? What is the signup conversion by source? Where is the drop-off happening? What behaviors precede churn? - Product and growth teams are pulling from your dashboards, not asking you to pull for them. - New features ship with instrumentation by default. Qualifications - 5+ years in product/growth analytics. - Experience owning and building a product analytics function. - Proficient in tools like Pendo, Mixpanel, GA4, Segment, etc. - Strong in SQL and understand data warehouses / data lakes. - Understand identity resolution deeply. - Operate like an owner, not a dashboard-builder. - Comfortable working at the intersection of product management, data analytics, and data engineering. Benefits - 100% remote within the US - Flexible vacation policy - Annual vacation allowance for travel related expenses - Three-day weekend every month of the year - Competitive compensation - 100% healthcare coverage - 401k plan - Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for dependent, medical, and dental care - Access to coaching, therapy, and professional development Company Description MNTN provides advertising software for brands to reach their audience across Connected TV, web, and mobile.
