Job Description

Director – Product Management

Ontic

• Drive the vision for Ontic’s GSOC offering • Managing your team and contributing, deliver key GSOC components • Perform business analysis and guide packaging, licensing and pricing discussions • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to manage and guide prospects and existing customer accounts to successful outcomes • Own the roadmap for assigned products, including: conducting research, establishing business goals, mapping goals to product capabilities, building consensus, getting final approval • Identify business opportunities to grow the ARR of your products. When new opportunities are identified, build internal momentum and a plan to maximize. • Lead the go-to-market efforts for your products/modules/features and ensure that they are successfully launched. This includes Marketing and Sales efforts, as well as Implementation, Customer Success and Support. • Work to identify additional opportunities and build proposals/plans to take advantage of these revenue growth opportunities • Engage in strategic conversations with customers to both guide them and to learn from them.. This involves active listening, empathy, and effective communication skills • Working with Engineering, build a development plan that ensures timely delivery and meets our partner’s business timeline • Translate requirements into features and user stories and present them in a structured manner to the engineering team • Represent the voice of clients and internal stakeholders to user experience and development teams throughout the product development process • Leverage AI to increase Product Management efficiency and quality in all phases • Analyze usage metrics of product and drive adoption of underutilized areas of platform

Job Requirements

  • 10 years of SaaS Product Management with 3 years managing complex products that rely on integrations
  • Experience building a product strategy and a supporting roadmap
  • New product full-lifecycle management experience
  • B2B experience, including working with Fortune 500 customers, including managing the customer to achieve desired outcomes
  • Very strong ability to drive cross-functional teams, schedules, and decisions
  • Experience working with India based Engineering & QA
  • Experience driving all aspects of the software development lifecycle with development teams - iteration themes, backlog grooming, story mapping, and user story creation
  • Experience defining/prioritizing detailed product requirements
  • Ability to think strategically and articulate a long-term product vision and then roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Ability to proactively monitor, analyze, and resolve release dependencies, issues, and risks
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with great follow-through on projects
