Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree, preferably in construction management or engineering - Professional Engineer (PE) license or intent is encouraged and valued. - Must have knowledge/experience in self-performance contracting of all civil infrastructure scopes of work including earthwork/grading, underground utilities (e.g., water/sewer/storm), dewatering, demolition, road construction and repair, dam/levee construction and/or repair, and pavement / flatwork preparation. - Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an estimator or project manager in the heavy civil construction industry as a contractor’s employee. - Experience estimating federal projects is highly favorable. - Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
