Role Description As our Civil Engineer Designer supporting our Tucson AZ Engineering team, you will work remotely from the Salt Lake City, UT office while contributing to the planning, analysis, and design of stormwater, flood control, and water/wastewater systems while growing your technical skills alongside experienced mentors. Your work will directly support projects that strengthen and sustain local communities. What You'll Do - Work on water resources & flood control related projects and provide related support to multidisciplinary engineering projects through design, analysis, and technical documentation. - Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and related calculations. - Support technical reports, memorandums, and project documentation. - Assist with planning, analysis, and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. - Participate in field visits, data collection, and coordination with project teams. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. - 0-4 years of civil engineering design experience. - Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications - Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification or can be obtained within 1 year of hire. - Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PC-Hydro Flo-2D). - Experience using Civil 3D, OpenRoads, GIS software. - Active in or desire to participate in industry related organizations.
