• Overseeing complex accounting operations, ensuring GAAP‑compliant and timely financial reporting. • Serving as a technical accounting authority for a portfolio of Transforming Age (TA) entities. • Manages and oversees the full month‑end and year‑end close process for assigned Transforming Age (TA) entities. • Ensures timely, accurate, and GAAP‑compliant financial reporting. • Performs research, interpretation, and application of U.S. GAAP and documenting conclusions for complex and non‑routine transactions. • Leads technical accounting analysis and conclusions for acquisitions and other complex transactions. • Owns the preparation, review, and monthly sign‑off of all balance sheet account reconciliations. • Reviews and approves journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements for all affiliates and entities under management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • 5+ years’ experience in accounting experience preferably in non-profit organization.
  • Active CPA license.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of people management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in multi‑entity, regulated environments (senior living, healthcare, nonprofit, real estate preferred).
  • Experience supporting external audits and complex accounting reviews.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, GAAP, and month-end close
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using financial software and systems including advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
