Risk Analyst
Sedgwick
• Gathers, analyzes, and presents information on various risk management initiatives • Manages certificate of insurance requests, security arrangements and inquiries for international travel • Maintains vital risk management information • Manages all certificate of insurance requests including handling non-standard broker and carrier requests • Ensures new certificates are correct and making modifications as needed to ensure compliance with contract provisions • Leads in designing and advising on business resiliency documents with the field and internal stakeholders • Provides guidance for improvement to field office contacts • Maintains accurate documentation • Handles security arrangements and inquiries for international travelers • Communicates with executives and vendors to review risk levels and determine the appropriate levels of secured journey management to be put into place • Anticipates and acts on expedited changes as they occur • Acts as a subject matter expert on risk-related projects and initiatives • Gathers quarterly bordereau claims reporting information and provides to leadership and the appropriate broker(s) • Analyzes risk management snapshots of each office by auditing information through OneTrust • Identifies risk throughout the organization, developing, reporting, and monitoring on risk management issues • Creates reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings to key stakeholders within the business • Develops methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization • Collaborates with other team members to effectively analyze and present data • Develops systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic projects • Evaluates physical security audit tracking for ISO standard • Collects information on foreign insurance placements on an ongoing basis and keeps tracking documents up to date • Liaises with internal stakeholders to maintain the field office contact listing on a monthly basis • Reviews contracts
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Risk Management and Insurance preferred.
- Five (5) years of related experience, to include three (3) years of corporate risk management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines for projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects and programs at the same time to complete work
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data
- Quantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical concepts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

The Opportunity The Operational Risk Consultant is responsible for supporting self-identified issue management for Global Customer Service and Operations partners across EMEA and the US. As a part of the GTO Business Controls team, supporting Global Customer Service & Operations, this is a great opportunity to contribute to the ongoing maturity and execution of the risk and control framework in a large, global institution and influence how the organization views risk. You will partner closely with business stakeholders and other corporate functions, including Global Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, and Technology in the evolution and ongoing execution of the risk & control framework. The Business Controls, Global Customer Service and Operations Risk & Controls organization is focused on the assessment and monitoring of risk within Global Customer Service & Operations and understanding how the risk landscape continues to evolve over time to ensure that the risk framework is continually addressing emerging risk. The expected salary range for this position is $59,000 - $99,300 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives.
