X-energy
Role Description This position is responsible for subcontract and procurement services that will support X-energy's business effort. They will lead the entire life cycle of small, moderate, and large-sized subcontracts, including: - Working with customers and suppliers - Identifying sources to meet X-energy's specific needs - Negotiating terms and conditions - Subcontract administration This role will supervise Subcontract Administrators of varying degrees of seniority and provide management, oversight, and guidance as appropriate to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and achieve the company’s procurement goals/needs. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field from an accredited university or college. - Typically, seven plus years’ experience in procurement/contracts administration or related industry experience. - Previous experience at X-energy exceeding performance standards may be in lieu of years of experience. - Experience with federal government commercial procurements is required. - Understanding of federal government regulatory guidelines. - Experience conducting advanced level price and complex terms and conditions negotiations. - Proficient using Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word and Excel. - Proficient using Deltek Costpoint Procurement Module. - Experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information. Requirements - Prepare, review, and negotiate standard contract agreements and documents, including teaming, non-disclosure, subcontracts, Purchase Orders, and other vendor agreements. - Provide guidance and support to subcontract administrators and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. - Approve timesheets and paid time off requests. - Identify distinct contract requirements, provisions, and terms and conditions for subcontractors and vendors for U.S., Canada, and U.K. - Initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual requirements. - Generate and negotiate change orders and modifications to NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, and Subcontract Agreements. - Resolve issues with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and leadership as needed. - Prepare and disseminate information regarding subcontract status, funding, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination. - Conduct proper due diligence for all procurement requests, including vetting potential vendors and subcontractors. - Maintain approved vendor list through verification that vendors are not excluded in SAM.gov. - Support company proposal efforts as necessary. - Maintain and follow procurement and Quality Assurance policies and procedures for U.S., Canada, and U.K. - Ensure all procurement files are compliant with DCAA, CPSR, and Prime Contract requirements. - Maintain all documents, reviews, awards, and subcontracts in an organized, detailed, and centralized filing system. - Uphold open lines of communication with program managers, finance, leadership, and customers. - Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication. - Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
