Document Controller
Assystem
• Maintain and update all construction and design engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports • Carry out quality assurance checks to ensure correct templates, naming conventions, and metadata are applied • Implement robust version control and maintain full traceability of document revisions • Organise, archive, and manage documents in line with company and project standards • Ensure all documentation meets project requirements and client specifications • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and up-to-date records • Distribute revised documents and specifications promptly to relevant stakeholders • Manage Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Autodesk Vault, ProjectWise, Asite, or SharePoint • Train project team members on document control procedures and systems • Create and maintain trackers for document status, outstanding revisions, and compliance metrics
Job Requirements
- Diploma or qualification in administration, information management, or equivalent practical experience
- Previous experience in document control within construction or design engineering projects
- Proficient in EDMS platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Good understanding of construction workflows and design processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
