• Own and manage the regional Professional Services P&L, budget, and operating plan, ensuring achievement of margin targets and overall financial health of the regional services business. • Lead the scoping, solutioning, and pitching of professional services for strategic opportunities, partnering closely with Sales to define high-impact, value-driven engagements. • Collaborate with Regional Sales and Account Management leadership to build services strategies that support pipeline acceleration, revenue goals, and expansion. • Lead, scale, and develop the Professional Services organization, overseeing both the Forward Deployed Engineering and Customer Success Engineering teams across MEA. • Own workforce planning, capacity management, and resource utilization to efficiently balance team delivery against the dynamic book of business. • Recruit, assess, and develop high-performing technical talent, implementing performance management frameworks to recognize excellence and address underperformance. • Define and govern the regional service delivery methodology, ensuring consistent, repeatable, and high-quality outcomes across the entire customer lifecycle (from onboarding to expansion). • Define and enforce technical standards and MLOps best practices for customer deployments, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable at enterprise scale. • Monitor customer satisfaction, delivery quality, and overall health of engagements to maximize customer impact and retention. • Serve as the senior technical point of contact and executive sponsor for strategic enterprise customers, engaging with C-level stakeholders on delivery, architecture, and platform adoption strategies. • Maintain tight alignment with Global Engineering and Deployment leadership on standards, tooling, and frameworks, ensuring MEA practices contribute to and are consistent with global strategy. • Represent DataRobot externally as a thought leader at regional industry events, customer advisory boards, and partner forums.
Job Requirements
- 10–14 years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform deployment, or AI/ML technical roles
- A minimum of 4 years in a senior management or VP-level leadership position
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field required; MS or PhD preferred
- Expert-level, hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform including enterprise security, networking, and compliance considerations
- Strong architectural understanding of MLOps, model CI/CD pipelines, REST API design, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and enterprise data integration patterns
- Proven ability to design and oversee deployment architectures for complex, regulated enterprise environments including financial services, healthcare, and government sectors common to the MEA region
- Familiarity with Generative AI and Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI) and their deployment considerations is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 3–5 years) leading and scaling regional or global deployment, solutions, or platform engineering teams, including hiring, performance management, and career development across distributed geographies.
- Strong ability to manage a matrixed organization with both direct and dotted reporting lines across time zones.
- Exceptional executive-level communication skills — able to translate technical complexity into clear business outcomes for C-level audiences.

External Engagement and Scientific Communication - Engage strategically with HEOR thought leaders, outcomes researchers, academic institutions, and payer/HTA stakeholders. - Lead the HEOR external engagement strategy in alignment with tumor teams, market access, and affiliate functions. - Oversee HEOR-related congress strategy, including ISPOR, ASCO, ESMO, ASH, and other relevant venues. - Support payer advisory boards and value evidence review forums in partnership with market access and commercial teams. - Build and maintain a network of HEOR academic collaborators and external experts.
