• Design and develop integration solutions using OIC Gen3 • Architect and implement real-time and batch integrations. • Lead the efforts and work allocation with team members • Configure and manage OCI/OIC logging and auditing mechanisms. • Leverage pre-built integrations, cloud adapters, SaaS connectors, and orchestration patterns. • Ensure secure integrations, including encryption and decryption mechanisms. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and performance issues.

Role Description We're hiring a VP of Product Engineering to lead the teams building the products our customers depend on every day — Pipelines, Test Engine, Packages, Agents & Compute, and Releases. - Reporting to the CTO, you'll be accountable for the pace, quality, and impact of product delivery across these teams. - Developing the engineering managers and technical leaders who lead them. - This is a role for someone who thinks in outcomes, not outputs. - You'll be measured on what ships, what customers adopt, and the strength of the team you build. Qualifications - A leadership track record that fits. - Proven experience leading product engineering organisations through meaningful scaling. - References ready to speak to your coaching and sponsorship. - A track record of delivering outsized results with small teams through sharp prioritisation and leverage. - Technical credibility. - A hands-on engineering background sufficient to earn trust from senior engineers. - Experience leading teams building developer tools, CI/CD, infrastructure products, or similarly technical B2B products is strongly preferred. - Comfortable with Buildkite's core stack: Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL, Go, and PostgreSQL at scale. - The right operating style. - Quantitative — you use data to set targets, surface risk, and measure whether engineering is actually working. - A clear written and verbal communicator able to drive decisions with urgency without resorting to theatre. - Comfortable leading a distributed team across AU/NZ and US Pacific. - Strong opinions on what separates a high-performing product engineering organisation from a merely busy one.
