Threat Assessment Manager
SPS
• Develop and maintain comprehensive threat research regionally. • Identify, investigate, analyze, and manage global threats to executive staff and employees • Produce actionable and concise threat analysis products in a timely manner to inform cross-functional groups, executive staff protection, and enterprise-wide security operations • Work with and guide open-source intelligence analysts, utilizing law enforcement databases, social media platforms, and the deep/dark web for known and potential threats capable of impacting executive staff, employees, or the business partner community. • Manage Safety and Security team relationships with local law enforcement partners and other investigative, research, and intelligence groups and vendors. • Work closely with the client's customer service team members on threats • Maintain global situational awareness of potential and developing threats and prepare impact analyses • Work on complex security incidents with multiple stakeholders, including those without experience in the threat and intelligence fields. • Lead regional cross-functional program syncs to educate and develop improved threat capabilities. • Assist in program development with workflow creation, threat methodology research, and other planning products. • Have a team-focused approach to problem-solving. • Be comfortable communicating with everyone from senior executives to entry-level employees. • Have the ability to translate complex security issues in a way that your specific audience can consume and understand them. • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
Job Requirements
- Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.
- This position requires up to 10% travel
- 3-5 years of experience in threat analysis, ideally behavioral threat assessment, and threat management.
- Experience supporting a comprehensive threat management program and direct experience conducting investigations, intelligence collection, analysis, and case management.
- Extensive experience with utilizing open source research, criminal background information, and other online investigative techniques.
- Current member (or ability to become a member) of professional threat assessment organizations (i.e., Association of Threat Assessment Professionals).
- Ability to work some non-traditional hours (e.g., nights, weekends, or holidays) and respond to emergent or time-sensitive situations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrable during the interview process.
- Must be a highly adaptable and flexible individual with the ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
- Professional competency in the Google Suite of workspace applications and Mac OS.
