Role Description We’re looking for Dual Fuel SMART Meter Installers to join our growing team in and around the Kilmarnock area. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing: - Visiting customers who may be struggling with their energy bills, helping them take control through tailored advice and installing SMART PAYG meters where appropriate. - Investigating reports of tampered meters and making them safe. - Delivering excellent face-to-face customer service. - Discussing and agreeing payment solutions with customers. - Exchanging meters to PAYG or classic prepay. - Gathering customer and property information. - Leading warrant teams (when required) to safely disconnect meters. - Planning efficient daily routes to reduce carbon footprint. - Recording visit outcomes on mobile devices. - Uploading job data securely (monthly broadband allowance included) including Bodyworn Video footage uploads. Qualifications - MOCOPA/CMA1/MET2 qualified. - Strong customer service and communication skills. - A full UK/EU driving license (up to 6 points acceptable). - Must be willing to undertake 3-Phase electricity training with travel and overnight stays during training. - Comfortable working independently in the field. - Reside in or near Kilmarnock. - Broadband access at home.
