Role Description The role holder will be one of three specialists covering the Health cluster opportunities within the EU’s Horizon Europe programme as one of the Horizon Europe UK National Contact Point (NCP) to support UK entities as they apply for Horizon Europe funding. - Reach out and assist all types of UK entities to better understand, navigate and participate in Horizon Europe Cluster 1, and any subsequent Framework Programmes. - Utilize diverse communication methodologies including: - Presentations/webinars (face to face and virtual) - Newsletters - Online resources - Meetings - Email - Attend Cluster 1 Programme Committee Meetings in Brussels/online, and actively engage with personnel from the European Commission and NCP colleagues. - Communicate with relevant UK health public bodies, such as the NHS, to encourage their participation. - Work with others across UKRI and other business areas within Innovate UK to contribute to the ‘boosting UK participation to Horizon Europe’ initiatives. - Liaise and arrange regular meetings with the Cluster 1 Horizon Europe Engagement Group (HEEG) UK. - Participate in the Cluster 1 NCP CSA (Coordination and Support Action) and undertake activities that contribute to deliverables. - Attend and contribute to relevant UK Health meetings internal and external to UKRI/IUK. Role Description As an Innovation Lead, you will lead on Innovate UK activity in the Life Sciences Growth Sector Team and for ensuring leading innovations can be developed and maximised by UK business to generate growth and in response to industrial challenges and commercial opportunities. Role Description You will work within a team of Analysts providing support to a Credit Specialist in assessing new transactions and/or a Relationship Manager in supporting a portfolio of high risk, high need loan beneficiaries. Job Purpose: - You will operate within a team of Analysts, providing support to a Credit Specialist in the assessment of new transactions. - Subject to experience and demonstrated capability, you may be assigned an individual caseload to facilitate your professional development. Role Description Reporting to the Lead Specialist for Innovate UK Core Evaluation, this role supports the design, coordination, and delivery of Innovate UK’s core and managed evaluation portfolio. The postholder will work closely with programme teams across Innovate UK to embed robust, proportionate evaluation approaches that align with Green Book and Magenta Book standards. Role Description The purpose of this role is to manage the evaluation function across our portfolio of programmes. - Coordinate and maintain high quality evaluative evidence across IUK. - Write strategic and proportionate evaluation plans for IUK's growth areas. - Ensure the successful delivery of process, interim impact, as well as final and economic impact evaluations. - Help to build M&E plans and structure ITT's for external contractors. - Support procurement of these contractors. - Provide evaluation thought-leadership in IUK. - Develop and deliver training on evaluation to the wider organisation. - Lead the wider development of Innovate UK’s capability to create, understand, and use evaluation evidence. - Build close professional links and working relationships with programme teams across Innovate UK and analysts from UKRI, DSIT, and other government departments. Role Description The Programme Managers will be responsible for the effective delivery of Programmes within Innovate UK. - Day-to-day management of Programmes; planning, briefing, tracking and reporting on progress of key deliverables, finances and programme risks as well as resolving issues when they arise. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with primary stakeholders including Innovation Leads, government departments, operations, finance, Impact and Performance managers. - Represent the team as required at high-profile events and meetings. - Leadership and influence of multi-disciplined teams, both internal and external to achieve programme deliverables. - Develop and implement programme monitoring, reporting and governance mechanisms and take ownership of associated programme management products and documents, including strategies, plans, reports, dashboards, and contractual agreements such as MoUs. - Assist with managing the programme budget and spend profile, gaining sign off from stakeholders as required. - Oversee the embedding of monitoring, evaluation and benefits realisation for the managed programmes. - Organise and chair stakeholder meetings and provide secretariat as required. - Deliver timely responses to information requests, such as completing reports, tracking co-investment, answering queries from delivery partners, government departments, etc. - Contribute to Innovate UK Programme Hub activities, such as reporting to Programme Hub, reporting to Growth Sector Boards and other submissions and input requests as appropriate. - Support the planning and delivery of activities as part of the Spending Review process, working closely with the Directors to assist as required during the process. Role Description The Project Manager will work with all members of the Defence Growth Sector and will contribute to the effective delivery of the Defence Growth Sector Innovation Programme. - Manage the day-to-day delivery of the Programme, working closely with project teams and the wider Portfolio Support Office function. - Apply structured management to the Defence Growth Sector Programme. - Effectively manage relationships with Defence and National Security Government and industry stakeholders. - Support the implementation of appropriate programme and project management functions, ensuring effective Risk Management, governance, assurance, impact management, etc. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities - Provide project management support for the Defence and National Security Programme activities, including competitions launch, delivery of events, programme reviews, and impact and evaluation frameworks. - Support the Programme Manager in the day-to-day delivery of Programme/Domain/IUK/UKRI Governance functions. - Support the development of governance papers and provide secretariat for governance meetings as required. - Track and record timelines, finance, risks, and impact metrics. - Support the embedding of monitoring, evaluation, and impact management across projects. - Generate and update management information and reports as required to support effective governance. - Ensure effective change management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables. - Support knowledge sharing and best practice across the PSO function and wider Defence and National Security.
