Employee and Labor Relations Leader, US West

RTX

• In partnership with Business and HR leaders, achieve RTX bargaining objectives that leverage cost, efficiency, and scale while ensuring fairness for covered employees consistent with our principles and values. • In partnership with Business and HR leaders, assess and deploy measures to reduce potential union‑organizing risk consistent with our principles and values. • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, HR partners, and local and International Union representatives. • Serve as the chief spokesperson representing the Company in collective bargaining for agreements in the region. • Provide leadership and counsel across all aspects of labor management, including grievances, arbitrations, and contract administration for sites in the region. • Further educate and develop HR professionals in the region. • Drive policies, processes, and practices that ensure effective execution and compliance. • Will travel up to 50%.

Job Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of labor relations experience, including involvement in negotiations and collective bargaining, managing grievance and arbitration processes to resolve labor disputes, advising management on labor law compliance and best practices.
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment, labor, and compliance requirements.
  • Held a significant role in collective bargaining negotiations.
