Video & Digital Content Intern
Fortrea
• Play a crucial role in our marketing initiatives by creating and editing videos and marketing communications to increase engagement rates. • Edit various types of content, including high-level videos filmed on and off-site, in-house videos and content, charts and graphs within presentations, and other branded visuals that align with our content guidelines. • Utilise animation skills to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of video content. • Design infographics, digital and social media assets and support with presentation design all aligned to Fortrea’s brand guidelines. • Organize and plan weekly work in a Monday meeting with your line manager. • Attend check-ins on Thursdays as required to resolve issues and meet project goals. • Collaborate flexibly with the extended marketing team, proactively seeking opportunities to support projects where video plays a key role in campaign tactics and strategies. • Work closely with Creative Director, Video Editing and Motion Design Specialist and Presentation Designers to support the Marketing teams to prioritise creative output. • Organize and plan meetings with Product Managers and Campaign Managers. • Support social media activity with on-brand, timely visual content.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Film Production, Media and Communication, Digital Media Production, Animation and Visual Effects, or Creative Media and Technology.
- Experience with video editing and production using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Experience using video analytics to improve video engagement and response.
- Proven experience and passion with video editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere and After Effects, including working with video layouts and templates to enhance productivity and standardization to brand guidelines.
- Ability to create and enhance branded video layouts, ensuring all videos adhere to brand style guidelines.
- Understanding of video engagement metrics and ability to optimize videos to maximize viewer retention, conversions, and response to call-to-actions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple video projects weekly, maintaining high productivity while producing quality video content.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly: Illustrator InDesign Photoshop.
- Comfort working within tech-driven workflows, including use of AI tools for video and image generation (or a strong drive and willingness to learn).
- Flawless English as this will be the main working language; any other languages are a bonus.
- High standards for your work and that of others, with attention to detail to spot areas for improvement.
- Ability to assess standards: When given a set of criteria, you should be able to clearly assess standards based on these criteria.
- Very comfortable with tech, specifically familiar and comfortable with: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint ChatGPT, Sora, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly (AI prompts and use).
- Animation skills are an additional bonus.
- Excellent proactive self-organization and know how to manage and prioritize a task list. This translates to never missing or dropping tasks, meeting deadlines, or communicating early when deadlines may need to change.
