• Report to the Messaging Value Stream Agile Master • Provide second-line support for SMS, MMS, and SMS Firewall services • Review internal and external operational processes in order to optimize repair efficiency • Identify improvement opportunities and follow up on the implementation of improvement actions • Be ready to lead the repair team squad by managing, steering, and coordinating team activities when required • Follow up on network and service availability and quality, performing proactive and reactive maintenance actions • Work closely with the Customer Care team to identify and resolve problems reported by customers • Perform incident management activities as well as planned works • Cooperate with vendors, monitor their performance, and ensure proper service delivery • Participate in the implementation of new services and network rollout projects, in collaboration with engineering teams • Take part in guard duty services
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in telecom, mainly in Messaging, Signaling, or Roaming areas
- Familiarity with Telecom technologies and ITU/ETSI standards
- Good knowledge of SS7 / SIGTRAN, LTE, GSM call flows, and roaming scenarios
- Good operational knowledge of Linux
- Upper-intermediate level of English
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or ICT
- Experience with HTTPS (APIs), MMS, Kibana, or Openmind software
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools (containers, Ansible, CI/CD, Splunk, Kubernetes, AWS, etc)
- Knowledge of Docker
- Experience with IT tools and scripting, such as Splunk or Python

Role Description The Network Engineer is a hands-on engineering role sitting at the intersection of network operations, client delivery, and infrastructure security.
