IT Manager II – Security Infrastructure

• Lead and manage multiple teams of IT professionals, including network engineers, systems administrators, and operations staff. • Develop team capabilities through mentoring, training, and performance management. • Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute the infrastructure and operations strategy. • Contribute to the development and implementation of infrastructure strategies that support the organization’s long-term goals and objectives. • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of all infrastructure components. • Manage the day-to-day operations of IT systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. • Establish and enforce best practices, processes, and procedures for IT operations. • Provide advanced technical guidance and support to teams, particularly in solving complex technical challenges. • Lead complex infrastructure projects, from planning and design through to implementation and evaluation. • Oversee the implementation and management of robust security protocols to protect IT systems and data. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure environments and leading multiple technical teams.
- Deep expertise in one or more of the following: Server management, networking, security, storage systems, and/or data center operations; Network protocols, firewall management, and security best practices; Cloud computing platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments; Virtualization technologies and/or disaster recovery planning; Management of End User Services technologies; ITSM processes and procedures; Monitoring, observability, and/or event management.

- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects.
