Academic Tutor - Trinity University Campus - Part time - Job Family Group: Staff - Department/Office: Upward Bound - Time Type: Part time - Compensation: $17.00-$21.17 - Please note, starting salaries are based on factors including internal equity, relevant experience, and education. - Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Job Description: Provides individual and/or group tutoring to Upward Bound participants during the summer components. Supports Upward Bound faculty/staff and informs staff of student’s concerns and academic performance and maintains documentation. EXPERIENCE Preferred: Experience as a TRIO student or experience working with TRIO participants is highly desirable. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Preferred: Knowledge of tutorial strategies and classroom management.
