Role Description Own how Platos looks and feels in the world. This role brings the Platos brand to life across every customer touchpoint outside the product itself — marketing campaigns, the public website, sales and partner collateral, hardware packaging, and the broader brand system. As Platos enters its next phase, this role is responsible for ensuring the brand evolves with the same clarity, rigour, and craft that defines the product. This is a brand and marketing design role. Product UX is owned separately and is out of scope. Core Responsibilities - Marketing & Brand Design (Primary Responsibility) - Design campaign assets across social, paid, email, and content channels. - Produce launch and announcement creative for product releases. - Maintain a consistent visual identity across all marketing surfaces — typography, colour, layout, imagery, and tone. - Translate product narratives and value propositions into visual work that is clear, on-brand, and conversion-aware. - Web Design & Build (Webflow) - Design and build landing pages, marketing pages, and CMS-driven content on Webflow. - Own day-to-day site maintenance, content updates, and responsive integrity across breakpoints. - Ensure the website reflects the latest product positioning and value propositions. - Apply on-page SEO, accessibility, and performance best practices at the design and build level. - Partner with a developer for advanced custom code, complex CMS architecture, and engineering-heavy integrations — this role is not expected to deliver these end-to-end. - Hardware Packaging & Product Assets - Design packaging for the Platos Monitor hardware line, from concept through print-ready files. - Produce in-box materials: quick-start guides, instruction inserts, regulatory labels, and warranty cards. - Direct and curate product photography and 3D renders for use across web, retail, and marketing channels. - Work with operations and suppliers to ensure manufacturing specifications are met. - Sales & Partner Collateral - Design sales decks, partner pitch materials, and one-pagers for distribution and wellness channels. - Produce co-branded materials for B2B2C partners across active and future markets. - Build and maintain a library of reusable templates that the sales and partnership teams can adapt with minimal design support. - Support occasional investor and stakeholder communication assets (decks, one-pagers, reports). - Brand System Stewardship - Maintain and evolve the Platos brand system — guidelines, typography, colour, iconography, photography direction, and tone of voice expressed visually. - Curate and organise the central asset library so partners, contractors, and internal teams can self-serve. - Coordinate with the Product Design function to ensure brand consistency between marketing surfaces and the product itself, without owning product UX. - AI-Assisted Production & Velocity - Use AI design tools to accelerate ideation, asset production, and iteration across marketing, web, and packaging work. - Hold the quality bar on AI-generated outputs — nothing ships that does not meet the Platos visual standard. - Build and document repeatable workflows that combine AI tools with traditional design craft. Qualifications - 4+ years of professional experience in brand, marketing, or communication design — preferably at a fast-paced tech startup or top-tier agency — with a portfolio that demonstrates real vision, taste, and craft. - Strong fundamentals: typography, grid, alignment, hierarchy, colour, and spacing. You treat the brand as a system, not a mood board, and think in narratives, not just assets. - Demonstrated Webflow proficiency — design and build pages and CMS-driven content independently, with a clear sense of where design work ends, and developer work begins. - Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. AI-fluent across image generation, AI design plugins, and LLM-assisted ideation as part of daily workflow. - Experience designing print and packaging — bleed, dieline, CMYK workflows, and supplier handoff. - Proactive ownership — you bring ideas, spot what is broken, and propose what to fix, instead of waiting for briefs. - Ability to manage parallel briefs across marketing, web, packaging, and partner channels without losing quality. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and comfort working independently and asynchronously across remote teams. Benefits - A defining brand moment: Platos is entering its next phase. The visual identity that takes us through that transition will be shaped in this role. - Real scope: Brand, web, packaging, and partner channels under one role — with the autonomy and ownership that comes with it. - Career Path: Brand Lead, Head of Brand, or specialisation into product marketing design as the team scales. - Competitive Package: Base salary ₦550k–₦700k (depending on experience), with project bonuses and stock options aligned to Platos’ global compensation framework. - Perks: Health insurance, free access to Platos products, company-provided work device, and a professional development fund. - Mission-driven environment: Work on a product designed to make preventive health accessible across markets that have historically been underserved.
