• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of reliable, scalable, performant, and secure production platforms and services. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure and deployment patterns. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the organisation, promoting strong engineering standards and operational best practice. • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support critical services and ensure platform availability. • Drive standardisation, automation, and documentation to improve consistency, reduce operational overhead, and support knowledge sharing. • Contribute across the full lifecycle of platform and service delivery, from design and build through to operation and optimisation.

• Support the automation, maintenance, and reliability of LGY development and deployment pipelines. • Ensure that system environments and deployments remain stable, secure, and compliant with VA OIT standards. • Work closely with development, operations, and release management teams to support CI/CD processes and ensure efficient environment management across the LGY platform.

• The Salesforce Pipeline Engineer will support the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Loan Guaranty Service (LGY) within the production operations environment. • The Salesforce Pipeline Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining Salesforce deployment pipelines, supporting automated builds and deployments, and ensuring code changes are promoted through environments in accordance with VA OIT release management processes.

• Developing and managing cloud-based infrastructure on Azure. • Creating and maintaining deployment architectures and continuous delivery pipelines. • Designing high-availability and fault-tolerant solutions for applications. • Implementing monitoring frameworks, including dashboards, alerts, and escalation processes. • Automating infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. • Managing containerized applications and orchestrating deployments using Kubernetes. • Ensuring security best practices are applied across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and microservices. • Optimizing system performance and scalability through observability and proactive monitoring. • Collaborating with development teams to streamline deployment workflows and improve DevOps processes. • Advising clients on best practices for cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and system security. • Engaging in technical discussions with stakeholders and supporting project execution to ensure timely delivery. • Assisting with the analysis of client requirements. • Working with and supporting Technical Leaders in project execution and timely delivery. • Collaborating with client teams.
