FP&A Manager, Product & Ops Location: Remote USA Current list of states where iFIT may consider hiring: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WY. iFIT’s vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health - physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery - into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their own individual fitness journey. We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as an FP&A Manager remotely in the US. iFIT is building the world's most holistic health and fitness platform — software that learns each user, hardware that performs under pressure, and a supply chain that has to deliver on both promises. We are looking for an FP&A Manager who can sit at the intersection of all three. This is not a month-end reporting role. You will be the financial backbone of our Hardware Engineering, Software Product, and Operations functions — owning COGS architecture, R&D capitalization strategy, logistics economics, and the rolling forecast model that ties it all together. The ideal candidate sees a messy dataset as an opportunity, communicates financial complexity with clarity and confidence, holds their team to a high standard, and is genuinely curious about the products they are financing — from how the hardware works to why the BOM changed to what a logistics lane optimization actually looks like in practice. ROLE COMMITMENTS - Build a master COGS report covering BOM-level engineering changes and cost savings initiatives, serving as the single source of truth for hardware cost performance. - Drive the reforecast streamlining initiative to enable full rolling 12-month model updates across the business by December 2026. - Develop an executive-level labor allocation model for hardware and software engineering teams, with spend tracked by major program and visible to leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve as the lead financial partner to Hardware and Software Engineering leaders, evaluating product roadmap ROI and holding the line on project spend. - Own Go/No-Go financial analysis for new hardware launches, providing the numbers that determine what ships and what doesn't. - Direct capitalization schedules and R&D investment strategy for software, ensuring spend aligns with long-term corporate goals and produces clear, defensible ROI. - Own the financial architecture for global logistics, warehousing, and last-mile delivery, partnering with logistics leadership to protect and expand contribution margins. - Leverage Snowflake datasets to drive at least two major margin improvement initiatives per month, including shipping lane optimization, strategic component sourcing, and carrier mix analysis. - Partner with Customer Service and Manufacturing/Quality to turn warranty data into actionable hardware reliability trends that feed future product design and reduce warranty cost exposure. - Lead the evolution of Product and Operations budgeting toward a dynamic 12-month rolling forecast inside Adaptive Planning. - Build and maintain driver-based models that reflect how operations actually work. - Deliver variance analysis and financial storytelling that is clear and actionable for engineers, operators, and executives. - Lead, develop, and set the standard for 2 Senior Financial Analysts, building their instincts and creating analytical frameworks and tooling they can scale. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Education and Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering with a financial emphasis. - 5–7 years of progressive FP&A experience, with meaningful time in a Hardware, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain environment. - Demonstrated understanding of both COGS/inventory accounting for hardware and R&D capitalization/SaaS metrics for software. - Expert-level Excel proficiency including complex nested logic, Power Query, and building models others can use. - Solid command of GAAP/IFRS financial statements. - Strong ability to communicate financial complexity clearly to engineers, operators, and executives. - Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications - MBA or CMA certification. - Adaptive Planning proficiency, with experience building models rather than just running reports. - Tableau or equivalent BI dashboard experience pulling from Snowflake data. - SQL proficiency sufficient to pull your own data independently.
