Clinical Pharmacist – LA & MS License Required

• Provide integrated support to patients and physicians • Review and interpret clinician's patient care notes • Develop and refine clinical protocols • Monitor ongoing patient adherence • Evaluate EMR for medication adherence • Recommend therapeutic drug regimens • Medication therapy management (MTM) • Clinical interventions including comprehensive pharmacist consultation • Productivity monitoring and reporting • Identifying and resolving insurance related issues • Communicating with support personnel compliant with HIPPA rules • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the states of Louisiana and Mississippi
  • 1+ years' experience strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of specialty medication pharmacology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge using EPIC/QS1/WILLOW software is a plus

• Facilitate large-group “review sessions” (20-75 students per session) aligned to key curriculum areas over a 25-week period. Sessions will be 60 mins each.
