Job Description

Senior Product Manager, Identity and Access Management

Akamai Technologies

• Manage and define the complete identity and account management strategy, including user requirements, feature prioritization, roadmap, launch, and adoption. • Optimize secure, seamless account creation entry points, enhancing conversion, minimizing onboarding friction, and expediting access to initial resources collaboratively. • Lead the evolution of core IAM capabilities including SSO, MFA and password less authentication, fine-grained authorization and service/workload identity. • Develop comprehensive business analysis and financial models to support business cases and long-term product planning. • Become the trusted expert in industry trends and market landscape relevant to direct and related markets for assigned product lines. • Ensure collaboration among engineering, architecture, operations, and supply chain teams to achieve timely and scalable product delivery.

Job Requirements

  • 12 years of experience with product management, product development with cloud, platform, or security domains experience or it's equivalent.
  • Demonstrate expertise in IAM concepts (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect), advanced authorization systems (RBAC/ABAC), and multi-tenant cloud architectures.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
  • Have familiarity with enterprise identity ecosystems, compliance frameworks, and modern security principles.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand, define, and communicate the value of highly technical cloud products.
  • Possess deep relationship-building skills and experience collaborating with technology partners.
