About the role: Samsara is looking for a smart, motivated Supply Chain Lead to ensure seamless execution of Supply Chain Operations across the product life cycle. In this high impact role, you will work collaboratively with the Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering teams and JDM partners to meet Samsara’s Supply targets. The lead will enable the Supply Chain Managers to execute daily operations across PO, materials and logistics management efficiently with heavy focus on process and standardization. This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days per week in our Taipei office. In this role, you will: - Oversee Inbound Supply Chain Operations including forecast release, PR/PO processing, material and factory manufacturing management, logistic coordination - Be responsible for shipping within hard time frames per supply targets - Provide insights to barriers to production capacity and materials visibility - Drive BOM ordering with supply chain elasticity, implementation plan of ECO change, MRD reporting and supply optimization with JDM partners - Interface with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to resolve production gaps - Collaborate ECOs with suppliers and cross-functional team to alleviate supply gaps - Deliver accurate cost projections with elaborate cost models such as E&O, Returns, Warranty units - Standardize communication by establishing tools, processes and reports - Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices Minimum requirements for the role: - 4+ years of supply chain execution & supplier’s material, capacity, refurbishment management or acting as sales operation / supply management to the Tier 1 customers. Any Supply Elasticity consolidation with reporting to leadership level is a bonus. - Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, operation or related field. - Experiences of supply fulfillment with direct supplier management, including CTB report, OPO backlog tracking, material shortage report as essential requirements. - HW BOM, Cost, ECO, Program base task assigned and schedule control are bonus points. - Well concept with learning experience about operational systems (ERP, PLM, ASCP..etc.).
