Job Description

Pharmacy Technician, PACE

The Cigna Group

• Assisting patients in receiving needed medications to help manage rare and/or chronic diseases. • Engaging patients, insurance companies, and multiple departments to process orders and ensure timely shipment of medications. • Accurately entering prescriptions into the system. • Researching issues with pharmacists and doctors’ offices and providing guidance to patients about medication coverage. • Handling multiple requests and documenting information in the computer system.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or GED required
  • Minimum of six months related experience
  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as required by state laws
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills
  • RxHome experience a plus
  • Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication)
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
