Senior Consultant, DevOps & Cloud Engineer
XAAS
• Advise clients on cloud architectures, DevOps strategies, and platform concepts. • Design and support the implementation of cloud service management platforms. • Design target architectures for CI/CD, container, and infrastructure landscapes. • Provide guidance on adopting DevOps practices and platform engineering approaches. • Develop architecture decision templates and governance concepts. • Facilitate architecture workshops and present to decision-makers. • Provide technical leadership in complex consulting engagements.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent qualification with professional experience.
- Several years of consulting experience as a Cloud or DevOps architect.
- Strong conceptual understanding of cloud service management and brokerage platforms.
- Solid architectural knowledge of Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible), and major hyperscalers.
- Experience with security architectures and modern authentication methods.
- Proven methodological competence in architecture work using established frameworks.
- Programming knowledge in Python, Go, or Java.
- Confident communication and presentation skills in German (C2) and English (at least B2).

To do this you will: - Design, manage, and execute the upgrade and maintenance schedule for a defined list of clients. - Work ongoingly to automate infrastructure processes, implement best practices, and introduce new approaches and tools that enhance our software delivery pipeline and reliability and performance of live client solutions.
