• Atuar na administração, governança e arquitetura de dados da organização, garantindo a integridade, a performance e a confiabilidade das bases de dados em ambientes críticos. • Apoiar os times de desenvolvimento e negócio na tomada de decisão baseada em dados qualificados. • Assegurar aderência aos padrões arquiteturais, boas práticas de modelagem e versionamento. • Contribuir diretamente para a estabilidade e evolução das soluções corporativas. • Planejar, instalar, configurar e administrar bancos de dados em ambientes críticos. • Projetar e manter modelos de dados conceituais, lógicos e físicos. • Acompanhar, orientar e validar a modelagem de dados realizada pelas equipes. • Avaliar modelos de dados e propor melhorias de arquitetura e performance. • Monitorar e otimizar o desempenho de bases de dados com grandes volumes transacionais. • Realizar tuning de queries utilizando EXPLAIN e ANALYZE. • Criar, manter e otimizar índices (BTREE, GIN, BRIN). • Gerenciar e validar processos de migrations e versionamento de schemas. • Executar e administrar rotinas de backup e restore (pg_dump / pg_restore). • Participar da definição da arquitetura de soluções de dados em projetos estratégicos. • Atuar na integração entre diferentes sistemas e bancos de dados, assegurando interoperabilidade. • Apoiar tecnicamente os times internos na adoção de boas práticas de banco de dados e governança da informação.

Job Requirements

  • Graduação completa na área de Tecnologia da Informação ou correlatas.
  • Pós-graduação em TI ou no mínimo 6 certificações na área de atuação ou metodologias ágeis.
  • Sólida experiência em desenvolvimento e administração de bancos de dados.
  • Experiência comprovada com PostgreSQL em ambientes de missão crítica.
  • Vivência com tuning, versionamento de schemas e administração de grandes bases transacionais.
  • Experiência com planejamento, instalação, configuração e monitoramento de bancos de dados.
  • Conhecimento e atuação com processos de migrations utilizando Flyway e scripts SQL manuais.
  • Domínio de versionamento de scripts de banco de dados.
  • Experiência com bancos de dados PostgreSQL, SQL Server e MySQL.
  • Conhecimento em integração entre sistemas e bancos de dados.
  • Experiência no apoio direto a equipes de desenvolvimento Java.
  • Atuação em validação, revisão e mentoria de scripts SQL e migrations.
  • Vivência em ambientes corporativos de alta criticidade e grande volume de dados.

Role Description CTG’s long-standing Fortune 500 client is seeking an experienced IT Database Administrator III to support and maintain enterprise Oracle database environments in a global production setting. This role is ideal for a senior database professional with expertise in Oracle administration, automation, performance tuning, and 24x7 production support. - Administer and support Oracle database environments including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup, and recovery. - Provide production support for mission-critical database systems in a 24x7 environment. - Monitor database performance and perform SQL tuning and optimization. - Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities and provide database governance support. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues including root cause analysis. - Automate infrastructure and database administration tasks using scripting and automation tools. - Support database refreshes and collaborate with application support teams and third-party vendors. - Participate in on-call support rotation and provide off-hours support for critical production incidents. - Collaborate with global teams across multiple business units and time zones. Qualifications - 7+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience. - Strong experience with Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Linux scripting. - Experience supporting Linux and Windows environments. - Expertise in database monitoring, performance tuning, backup, and recovery. - Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Puppet, Chef, Ruby, Terraform, or similar technologies. - Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. - Ability to work independently in fast-paced enterprise environments.
