Social Media Intern

• Support creative concepting for paid social and CTV across Earnings, Cash Advance, and Credit Building verticals • Assist in preparing creative briefs for production cycles • Contribute script ideas and creative angles for UGC-style video and CTV ads • Work with our design team to edit and update static ad assets in Figma as needed • Monitor social media trends across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube—identifying what's performing and translating it into actionable paid creative insights • Conduct competitive research and surface creative references to inform ad direction • Support creative QA during video review (via Frame.io) and flag revisions • Move quickly and adapt concepts based on real-time performance feedback

  • You're deeply tapped into social media and understand why certain content performs—not just what's trending
  • You can bridge organic social thinking and paid creative strategy—you know what hooks attention and how to build a brief around it
  • You have strong instincts for short-form ad copy and UGC-style creative
  • You're organized and can manage multiple concepts and briefs without losing track
  • You're a clear communicator who can articulate a creative idea concisely
  • You're resourceful, self-motivated, and thrive in a test-and-learn environment
  • You have familiarity with or curiosity about paid social advertising — you think in hooks, offers, and CTAs
  • You understand the difference between content that performs organically and content that converts as a paid ad
  • Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Grown your own social media account—you understand what it takes to build an audience, not just make content
  • Experience with or exposure to paid social ads (Meta, TikTok Ads Manager, YouTube ads)
  • Experience with AI tools (Midjourney, Sora, ChatGPT, etc.) for creative ideation
  • Experience with Figma for editing static ad assets
  • Knowledge of paid social performance metrics (CTR, hook rate, thumb-stop rate)
