Creative Operations Manager

Edelman Financial Engines

Role Description Edelman Financial Engines is seeking a Creative Operations Manager to help support and scale the operating foundation for our Brand & Creative team. This role plays an important part in enabling high-quality creative work by supporting the systems, workflows, and resourcing models that allow ideas to move efficiently from concept to delivery. As a key partner to Brand, Creative, and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure work is set up for success through clear intake, thoughtful prioritization, and strong operational execution. You will contribute to creating the conditions for creativity to thrive — balancing speed, rigor, and flexibility while maintaining alignment with broader business goals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex environments and is motivated by improving how teams work together to deliver meaningful brand experiences. Responsibilities - Workflow & operating model - Support and continuously improve end-to-end creative workflows from intake through delivery. - Help implement intake and briefing structures that create clarity and reduce rework. - Apply prioritization frameworks to align creative work with business goals and team capacity. - Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve cross-functional collaboration. - Help guide teams on how to engage Brand & Creative effectively, setting clear expectations for intake, timelines, and ways of working. - Resourcing & capacity planning - Support resourcing across internal team members, freelancers, and external partners. - Maintain visibility into team capacity, skill sets, and workload distribution. - Align project needs with the appropriate creative resources. - Flag potential resourcing gaps and support planning efforts as initiatives scale. - Tools & infrastructure - Manage core creative tools, including creative and AI tech stacks, project management platforms, digital asset management systems, and workflow solutions. - Maintain standards for asset organization, naming conventions, and version control. - Ensure tools and systems are used consistently across teams and partners. - Support relationships with vendors supporting creative technology platforms. - Operational performance & continuous improvement - Track operational health across throughput, efficiency, and speed to market. - Identify opportunities to improve consistency, quality, and scalability of creative output. - Support development of repeatable frameworks that enable multi-channel content creation. Qualifications - 4–6 years experience supporting creative teams through project management, creative operations, or similar roles. - Experience working within established workflows and contributing to process improvements. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. - Experience working with freelancers, agencies, or external production partners. - Familiarity with project management tools such as Adobe Workfront. - Experience with digital asset management platforms such as Brandfolder, Frontify, AEM. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. Requirements - Self-starter with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset. - Comfortable operating in evolving environments where priorities may shift. - Brings structure and organization while remaining flexible and pragmatic. - Approaches challenges with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset. - Builds trust by keeping work organized, clear, and moving forward. Benefits - The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $82,700 - $110,300. - Final base pay will be determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. - This role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
