Senior Process Control Engineer

• Develop, implement, and optimize process control strategies for oil and gas production and processing facilities • Prepare and maintain process control documentation, including control narratives, Cause & Effect charts, and P&IDs • Act as a checker for SCDs and logic diagrams produced by others • Support facility startups, shutdowns, and commissioning activities • Support process safety initiatives, including alarm management, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and HAZOP recommendations • Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and company safety policies • Support continuous improvement initiatives • Collaborate with suppliers and clients on the development of documentation to ensure robust process control systems are in place • Act as a link between the Process Engineering team and the Instrumentation team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- 8–15 years of experience in process engineering and process control in oil & gas
- Solid understanding of process control principles and PID loop tuning, with a strong emphasis on overall system behavior and understanding
- Understanding of how process properties influence process control
- Fluent in English
