Test Automation Engineer – 100% remote

Greenbone AG

• Design, develop, automate, and maintain end-to-end and integration tests for our software products • Analyze, review, and document test results, and collaborate with developers to resolve identified issues • Identify gaps in existing test coverage and prioritize the development of additional test cases • Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure testing aligns with business and product requirements • Promote and strengthen a culture of quality awareness within the team

Job Requirements

  • Degree or completed vocational training in IT or a comparable qualification
  • Strong experience with at least one of our preferred automation tools (Playwright or Cypress)
  • Overall 3+ years of experience in test automation
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and complex challenges
  • Experience with API and Integration testing
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly understand existing testing processes and systematically improve them
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and communicative
  • English at full-business proficiency level, German would be a plus
