• Own day-to-day operations and reliability of our GCP infrastructure • Maintain and improve our Kubernetes clusters (deployments, scaling, observability, cost) • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling • Consolidate infrastructure from multiple teams into a single unified devops function • Mature our release management and synthetic monitoring • Partner with engineering and support on performance, security, and incident response • Contribute to our roadmap for infrastructure, deployment, and platform reliability • Establish and participate in an on-call rotation for production infrastructure • Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Error Budgets
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, GKE, IAM, networking, Cloud SQL, etc.)
- Strong Kubernetes experience in production environments
- Terraform or other IaC experience
- Python for tooling and automation
- Experience with observability stacks (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Comfort working independently
- Production experience at enterprise scale
- US-based, able to work core hours overlapping with Mountain Time
- Background in security-conscious environments (nice to have)
- Startup or small-team experience preferred (nice to have)
