What We're Looking For: The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst plays a key role in developing and preparing Zebra's quarterly and annual SEC filings, including the interpretation and application of FASB and SEC standards, as well as providing input into investor relations communications. This role also researches and consults on various technical accounting matters and participates in cross-functional initiatives. This role interacts with several functions across the globe and has exposure to senior leadership. The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst plays a key role in developing and preparing Zebra's quarterly and annual SEC filings, including the interpretation and application of FASB and SEC standards, as well as providing input into investor relations communications. This role also researches and consults on various technical accounting matters and participates in cross-functional initiatives. This role interacts with several functions across the globe and has exposure to senior leadership. - Prepares analysis and makes recommendations for data gathering, consolidation, and analysis of information relative to the preparation of required regulatory filings. Reports may include the Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Form 8-K (Earnings Release), proxy statements, and annual report - Prepares and supports the analysis of the statement of cash flows, equity roll forward and related disclosures, as well as earnings release calculations. - Contributes to analysis of technical accounting matters, including the application of new and existing FASB and SEC standards and guidance, to ensure compliance. - Utilizes technical accounting knowledge and understanding of Zebra to maintain, update, and implement internal accounting policies. - Provides guidance to other members of Finance on technical accounting matters, as needed. - Works with applicable financial systems and, as needed, collaborates on any updates to those systems. - Mentors and directs other members of the accounting team as necessary. Must work hybrid (3 days in office/2 remote) from Lincolnshire, IL., or downtown Chicago, IL. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required - 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
