Job Description

Data Scientist Intern

Razer Inc.

• Support the building of AI applications through code optimization, algorithm research, and algorithm development • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across AI, data engineering, product development, and marketing to design, prototype, and deploy intelligent systems • Perform discovery and research to enhance application performance • Quantify implementation choices with product or business-related considerations • Implement unit tests for independent modules and services • Contribute to codebases using version control best practices via GitHub • Documentation of methodologies and codebase for knowledge sharing, general understanding and collaboration

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Object Oriented Programming
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) — including their utilization, common limitations, and evaluation techniques
  • Understanding of context and memory management in LLMs and/or agentic workflows
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience using GitHub for version control, issue tracking, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows
  • Passion for gaming
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure, agile environment
  • Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and Neo4j
  • Familiarity with messaging services/protocols like HTTP, MQTT, and AMQP
  • Understanding of or experience developing stateless systems
