Product Specialist - Incident Reporting
First Due
Role Description First Due is seeking a tech-savvy, customer-focused fire and EMS subject matter expert to work as an Implementation Product Specialist. In this role, you will work with Fire & EMS customers to implement First Due modules, providing industry-leading leadership, guidance, and support as First Due continues to build its best-of-breed end-to-end Fire and EMS platform. - Act as an Implementation Product Specialist for assigned modules. - Work directly with new customers to efficiently and effectively configure and optimize assigned modules. - Partner with implementation project managers to successfully implement and launch First Due to Fire and EMS customers of varying sizes and complexities. - Stay educated on module functionality, configuration, and industry best practices, including compliance requirements. - Provide guidance on standards to both customers and First Due’s product management team. - Maintain a full understanding of the features being developed in current and future sprints as well as the product roadmap. - Document product gaps arising during implementation and work with product management to ideate potential solutions, especially in relation to compliance requirements. - Participate in regional and national user group meetings both virtually and in person. - Develop a deep understanding of competitors’ capabilities within the assigned area of the product. Qualifications - Experience in Public Safety software or operations (preferably in Fire or EMS). - Understanding of Fire/EMS market and standards. - Ability to take customer requests, determine the desired end state and provide a straightforward path to the most efficient solution. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Exceptional project management skills: ability to manage multiple customer requests and projects simultaneously. - Patient, responsive, supportive, and respectful; adept at presenting, responding to feedback, and reasonably overcoming obstacles.
