Job Requirements
- Previous success managing a profit and loss for a line of business
- Previous success developing partnerships between different, independent entities
- Previous success in sales and relationship-building roles
- Previous success in managing and delivering IT projects, on time and on budget
- Proven success selling solutions at the CXO and VP level
- Knowledge and experience selling Collaboration products and services
- Experience with migration of on-premises solutions to modern cloud platforms
- AI-driven productivity technologies such as AI meeting assistants
- Understanding of workflow automation and integration with applications such as ServiceNow and SalesForce
- Experience building customer success programs to ensure adoption of new features
- Familiarity with consumption-based cost models
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
- 10 years of progressively successful career progression within an IT related industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Collaboration solutions
- Minimum 5 years of experience with practice / business development leadership.

Our Coalition includes 500+ elected officials, local leaders, military groups, and businesses, and over 50 bipartisan Federal Champions who work together to advance flood solutions at the local, state, and federal levels. With a team of over 30 staff, AFC is the only organization that focuses on flooding across all levels of government and is uniquely positioned to advance solutions that keep the country safer. Position Summary AFC is seeking a Government Relations Director or Associate Director to join our 9-member Federal Policy & Government Relations team. AFC’s Federal team is responsible for developing and driving bipartisan flood policy on Capitol Hill, supporting effective policy implementation at federal agencies, and elevating AFC’s brand and relationship network across the federal government.
