Role Description ACS is a transformative initiative that builds seller compliance capabilities, eliminates guesswork behind document rejections, and provides human expertise for cases requiring guidance or judgment - real-time consultation, repeat denied appeals, and documentation edge cases. The program operates through two pillars: Professional Advisory delivers proactive 1:1 coaching and on-demand expert access via Seller Assistant Live Chat, WeChat and Zoom; Express Resolution guarantees 1-calendar-day document review turnaround for FBA and high-velocity product cases. You will collaborate internally with program and Ops teams across TSE, AGS, Account Management and Seller Support to deliver specialized compliance expertise that bridges complex regulations and global seller growth. Your focus will be on building seller compliance capabilities, resolving ambiguous policy interpretation cases and driving operational excellence across ACS service delivery. - Deliver professional advisory services through proactive 1:1 compliance coaching to high-contact sellers; identify capability gaps, investigate root causes and provide tailored solutions to build sustainable compliance capabilities. - Conduct direct seller engagement including hosting roundtables and training sessions; customize training content; adapt presentation style to audience needs; handle complex Q&A sessions; innovate training methodologies and approaches. - Develop approaches to address systemic compliance gaps; create and maintain workflows and SOPs; architect process frameworks; lead process transformation initiatives and develop scalable solutions across regions. - Perform root cause analysis on compliance issues; develop data-driven recommendations and action plans to improve seller compliance experience; take ownership of complex projects and workflows. - Drive cross-team process improvement initiatives and solution implementation; influence stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives. - Handle escalations independently; provide definitive answers on document rejections, repeat-denied appeals and documentation edge cases requiring nuanced human judgment. - Present confidently to leadership; create sophisticated training materials and help content; communicate complex topics clearly to various audiences with clear rationale for decisions. - Contribute seller insights and ground-truth data to refine AI-driven self-service tools (Seller Assistant); loop learnings from direct engagement back into automation and process improvement. Qualifications - Experience in a training role, including technical training, or a mix of training, performance management and coaching/mentoring, or experience with Learning & Development and course facilitation or an equivalent professional qualification. - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. - Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. - Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English. - 3+ years of data-driven business operations processes experience. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint). - Bachelor's degree in Law, or 3+ years of Product Safety & Compliance Law experience. - Experience working with global and cross-functional teams across business development, marketing, operations, product development and legal. - Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+). - Experience in Account Management, Vendor Management, Business Development, Consulting.
