This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on structured cloud storage workflow review, migration journey evaluation, storage agent testing, transfer planning assessment, outcome reporting, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their cloud storage expertise to evaluate end-to-end storage management workflows, assess agent-generated recommendations, document findings, and support accurate, practitioner-informed technical review. Key Responsibilities - Cloud Storage & Migration Workflow Evaluation - Review cloud storage scenarios involving migration options, transfer methods, storage architecture, object counts, file sizes, and enterprise storage requirements. - Evaluate migration planning outputs against practical storage administration standards, transfer constraints, time estimates, and operational needs. - Assess trade-offs between online and offline transfer methods, including interconnect considerations, cost factors, and execution feasibility. - Identify incomplete guidance, incorrect assumptions, migration risks, and expected storage workflow outcomes. - Agent Testing & User Journey Review - Test natural-language storage management workflows across discovery, planning, validation, execution, and reporting stages. - Evaluate agent-generated responses for completeness, accuracy, practical usefulness, and alignment with real storage administrator expectations. - Execute or review simulated dry-run migration journeys and identify issues that could affect reliability or successful completion. - Provide structured feedback on agent responses, user journey quality, and technical failure modes. - Reporting, Calibration & Quality Feedback - Prepare evaluation reports, issue logs, outcome comparisons, and structured feedback summaries. - Compare planned migration outcomes against actual or simulated results, including variance analysis and progress reporting. - Support scoring calibration by documenting expert findings and recommendation patterns. - Maintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted work. Qualifications - Experience in cloud storage administration, enterprise storage management, infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, platform engineering, data migration, or related technical roles. - Strong understanding of cloud storage concepts, migration strategies, transfer sizing, object storage, access patterns, and operational reliability. - Familiarity with cloud storage platforms such as AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage, or similar systems. - Hands-on experience with data migration workflows, online or offline transfer methods, transfer planning, storage traffic simulation, or migration validation. - Ability to evaluate AI-generated technical recommendations from a practitioner's perspective. - Strong written communication skills and ability to document findings clearly. Requirements - A degree or professional background in computer science, information technology, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, cybersecurity, data engineering, or a related technical field is helpful. - Equivalent practical experience in cloud storage, storage administration, enterprise infrastructure, data migration, or technical QA is also highly relevant. Nice to Have - Experience with storage performance analysis, security auditing, storage analytics, cloud cost analysis, or storage intelligence workflows. - Familiarity with MCP, agentic AI frameworks, conversational AI tools, or human-in-the-loop evaluation workflows. - Prior experience in QA, technical evaluation, red-teaming, AI/ML system testing, or structured product testing. - Experience preparing or reviewing migration plans, transfer reports, issue logs, evaluation reports, storage architecture notes, or technical recommendations. - Strong attention to detail in infrastructure-heavy, reliability-focused, and documentation-based environments. • Design and develop modular, reusable cloud platform services and RESTful APIs that abstract infrastructure complexity and enable standardized consumption across engineering teams. • Lead the development and evolution of a web-based cloud services portal, including backend services and user-facing components supporting self-service provisioning. • Define and maintain service interfaces, API contracts, integration patterns, and versioning strategies to ensure scalability and long-term maintainability. • Provide technical leadership and guidance across platform and portal initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards. • Develop backend services and orchestration layers using Python and PHP to support platform automation and portal functionality. • Integrate AI capabilities, including generative AI and agentic AI patterns, to enhance developer experience, intelligent automation, and platform interactions. • Build infrastructure-backed services using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation across multi-cloud environments. • Own and continuously improve the Golden Container Image Factory and Cloud Server Image Factory, ensuring secure, compliant, version-controlled images across operating systems and cloud providers. • Collaborate closely with engineering, security, networking, and UX/UI teams to deliver cohesive and user-friendly internal developer platform experiences. • Drive continuous improvements in platform scalability, resilience, performance, and cost efficiency. • Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices in platform engineering, modular architecture, and software development.

• Conduct cloud readiness assessments and create migration plans to facilitate smooth transitions to AWS. • Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS, utilizing cloud-native technologies. • Support architecting and implementing large scale cloud-native data processing ETL workloads using AWS services • Provide SME recommendations for big data storing solutions, installations, and configurations while ensuring scaling needs. • Support database analysis, architecture, design, development, administration and capacity/storage, implementation, and operations of multi-terabytes scalable enterprise end-to-end backend database systems. • Provide expertise and support for migrations from on-premises computing infrastructure to AWS cloud ensuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and high availability. • Provide guidance on best practices for cloud application design, deployment, and optimization including through use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Engage with customers to gather requirements, understand their application architecture, and provide tailored cloud migration strategies and collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the seamless deployment of applications and services. • Configure and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployment in the AWS environment • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to continually enhance our service offerings. • Lead and mentor team members in implementing cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards. • Review security scans, accessibility audits, and performance testing to ensure full compliance with cybersecurity requirements; and, review results and provide mitigation or improvement plans where necessary and support the implementation of remediation activities to resolve and identified issues.
