Audio DSP Engineer

The Audio Programmer

• Collaborating with Founders and Product Designers on audio algorithm development • Developing audio DSP algorithms for embedded platforms (effects, synthesis, audio processing) • Contributing to platform architecture and toolchain development for a new DSP platform • Writing production-quality embedded C/C++ code • Working with other Developers and Engineers on product design decisions, balancing technical constraints with creative goals • Testing, debugging, and optimising code for real-time performance on resource-constrained hardware

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience writing DSP code for embedded systems
  • Strong C/C++ skills in resource-constrained environments
  • Solid understanding of DSP fundamentals: filtering, FFT, basic synthesis and audio processing concepts
  • Comfortable working with real-time constraints and debugging timing-sensitive code
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects forward with limited oversight

Role Description Welty Energy is looking for a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Energy team! As a Senior Transmission Line Engineer, you will lead the technical review process for our client(s)’s transmission line projects ensuring compliance is met in line with client standards and expectations. While this position can be remote, the hired team member will travel up to 15-20% of the time. Relocation and sponsorship is unfortunately not provided at this time. Day to day, you may: - Conduct technical review of high voltage transmission line designs (34kV – 500kV). - Perform analysis/modeling of wood, steel, and lattice structures. - Prepare construction plan documents as required per project. - Perform QA/QC reviews of all work product. - Assist with the preparation of proposals. - Interface with client’s engineering groups and project management team to provide regular and timely updates. - Perform site visits when necessary. - Take a lead role in growing the Welty Energy Transmission Line Engineering team. - Mentor and assist in the professional development of junior engineering staff. - Provide technical assistance to the Welty Energy Project Management Team. - Consult on internal projects when requested by the PM, Portfolio Manager, or Executive Vice President. Role Description Due to continued growth, Crown is seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. This is a remote-based role, with candidates required to be resident in Ireland, the UK or Europe, and available to travel to project sites across Europe as/if required. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will take a lead role in the commercial management of live projects, providing oversight, guidance and commercial control across the project lifecycle. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors to ensure strong commercial performance, cost certainty and risk management. Key Responsibilities - Lead the commercial management of projects in line with company procedures and best practice. - Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost-to-complete reports. - Oversee measurement of works and preparation of interim and final valuations. - Prepare and review client applications and support the invoicing process. - Manage procurement strategies for subcontractors and materials. - Assess subcontractor applications, manage valuations, payments and final accounts. - Administer construction contracts, including variations, change control and claims. - Identify, manage and report commercial risks and opportunities. - Provide commercial support and guidance to Project and Site Management teams. - Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting for senior management. - Attend site as required to support commercial activities and project delivery.
